Sacramento LOVES the Recent Hail/Snow Storm on Twitter

We live in a day that when something unusual happens, everyone reaches for their phones. We can all document our surroundings and share it with the world instantly. A great example of that was the recent hail storm in Sacramento that blanketed the city in what looked like snow.

Everyone was sharing what they saw and what they did. Here are some great examples of how well these posts did on social media.

LowBrau Bierhalle (@lowbrau916) normally gets about 150-300 likes on an Instagram photograph and maybe a handful of comments. Their images on this storm got 1,450 likes and 79 comments.

Sacramento Fire (@SacFirePIO) did a great job of sharing some fun photographs and reminders to stay safe - during what they deemed "#GRAUPOCALYPSE2018"

Sacramento Republic FC (SacRepublicFC) shared a great before and after photo of their playing field.

Sactown Magazine (@SacTownMagazine) shared a video on their Instagram page that fun to watch.

California Highway Patrols (@californiahighwaypatrol) posted a fun picture of their mascot in a patrol car.

When events like this occur - its worth sharing your experience as a brand! You may get some followers you didn't have before.
